Armani Jeans

Giorgio Armani was born in Piacenza, Italy in 1934. Armani is one of the most celebrated and influential designers Italy has ever produced.
In 1974 Armani introduced his first menswear label, following his earlier working life with Nino Cerruti, Zenga & Ungaro. The following year Giorgio Armani launched his womenswear collection.
Since 1975 Armani has also launched Giorgio Armani Junior, Armani underwear & swimwear, accessories and Occhialli. In 1981 Giorgio Armani launched diffusion lines Emporio Armani & Armani Jeans his vision is based on the everyday person in the street, believing that clothes should be made to be worn not just to be seen.
Giorgio Armani has a long relationship with Hollywood he designed Richard Gere's wardrobe for the 1980 film "American Gigolo", over the next two decades Armani had a string of movie credits including "Batman" (1989) and "Pulp Fiction" and appropriately named "Ready to Wear" (both 1994). Armani was also responsible for much of the pastel wardrobe for the stars of the hit T.V. series Miami Vice in the late 1980's. Giorgio Armani not only dressed Hollywood's elite but also sponsored or provided wardrobes for musical tours of several pop musicians, including Paul Simon, Billy Joel, David Bowie and Eric Clapton.
